Dear all,
We are pleased to announce the upcoming online course “Meta-analysis in R”, taking place from 11–14 May.

This hands-on course provides a practical introduction to modern methods for systematic reviews and meta-analyses, with a strong focus on applications in ecology and evolutionary biology. Participants will learn how to design and conduct systematic reviews, choose and calculate effect sizes, perform multilevel meta-analyses and meta-regressions, and interpret results while accounting for heterogeneity and publication bias.

The course combines lectures and practical exercises using real datasets and the R packages metafor and orchaRd, following open science and PRISMA EcoEvo guidelines. All analyses will be conducted in R, with scripts and resources provided.
