Dear Mark,

I assume that you are using the function metamean() from R package meta (I do not know an R package called metamean).

If so, you could conduct subgroup analyses for single factors using argument 'subgroup' in metamean(). If you want to conduct a meta-regression, e.g., to consider more than one factor, you can use the meta-analysis object created with metamean() as input to metareg().
