Dear Gerta,
Without going into the details, an individual has been posting here and elsewhere under various pseudonyms. I spend a lot of time answering questions and providing free support here and in various other places and I would like to know who I am conversing with and not be communicating with potentially fake identities, especially if the post is addressed to me directly (which isn't how a mailing list should be used in the first place).
Regardless, I regret where this conversation has gone, because this has nothing to do with meta-analysis and R and subscribers to this list are presumably not here for such drama.
So, this will be my last post on this topic. However, because I feel like my goodwill to provide help has somehow been abused by the behavior of this individual, I am unlikely to respond to any future posts from non-verifiable identities. I will also take a break from answering posts here in general for a while.
Best,
Wolfgang
