Hi all,

one more announcement, this time concerning netmeta, version 2.0-0.

The most significant changes are

- switch of behaviour of print and print.summary functions (to be in
line with other print and print.summary functions in R),

- by default, reference group is defined by first treatment in network
meta-analysis,

- restricted maximum likelihood and maximum likelihood estimator for
between-study heterogeneity implemented by calling rma.mv() from R
package metafor internally,

- rankograms and Surface under the cumulative ranking (SUCRA) can be
calculated using resampling methods,

- two methods to estimate network contributions implemented,

- calculation of standardised mean differences and corresponding
standard errors in pairwise() is based on Crippa & Orsini (2016), BMC
Med Res Meth, equations (4) and (5), providing consistent treatment
estimates and standard errors for multi-arm studies,

- renamed arguments ('fixed', 'random', 'level.ma' instead of
'comb.fixed', 'comb.random', 'level.comb').

The old argument names still work but will result in a warning.

More details on the changes are available at

.

New readers of "Meta-Analysis with R (Use R!)" should install a legacy
version of netmeta: https://tinyurl.com/kyz6wjbb

Best, Guido
