[R-meta] Recent development of packages that fit the Reitsma et al. (2005) bivariate model

Dear R-sig-meta-analysis contributors,

I am currently in the process of contributing a chapter about software to
an edited volume on diagnostic meta-analysis (jointly with Gerta Rücker and
Paul Bürkner). I have been made aware of another current review currently
in press (comparing three software packages) and I realized, that it could
be wise to ask the community for other recent developments I might have
missed. The focus is the bivariate model of Reitsma et al. (2005) and its
extensions. While I am confident I know about packages/code in SAS, Stata
and R, I would nevertheless be happy for pointers to any non-obvious or
recent (relatively user-friendly) software options and reviews that show
how to fit the bivariate model, say from the last two years.
