Interesting: I checked the default situation on my iMac:
defaults read org.R-project.R NSAppSleepDisabled
2024-12-11 15:32:36.503 defaults[98598:4565691]
The domain/default pair of (org.R-project.R, NSAppSleepDisabled) does
not exist
