[R-SIG-Mac] Rserve long vectors not supported yet

Hi all,

I develop my application  with R version 3.4.4 on Mac OS X Catalina (10.15.4) without any problems.Deployment in Ubuntu 18.04, with R version 3.4.4 also works perfect.

I installed R 4.0.0 and Rserve 1.8.6 in Mac so when I try, from time to time, I get error

Error: long vectors not supported yet: qap_encode.c:36
Fatal error: unable to initialize the JIT

Trying R CMD Rserve —version() in Terminal gives

Rserve v1.8-6 ()
R version 4.0.0 (2020-04-24) -- "Arbor Day"
Copyright (C) 2020 The R Foundation for Statistical Computing
Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin17.0 (64-bit)


I have followed all the conversation regarding this problem and I understood that using version 1.8.6 you can skip this. Any help on what can be wrong?
