Well, I think our mirror  https://cran.CH.r-project.org/
  ( -->  https://stat.ethz.ch/CRAN/bin/macosx/el-capitan/contrib/3.6/ )
would have helped too, as my rsync script
is "slow to delete" on purpose.

But that's not the reason for this e-mail: Rather to alert
