[R-SIG-Mac] Issue in R Console

The following appears as soon as I open R Console and continues until the application is closed.  This is on a Mac - Sierra 10.12.6 and R version 3.4.3.  Has anyone seen this issue before or know how to resolve?  Also, I have tried installing older versions of R, back to 3.4.0 but the same issue occurs.
