[R-SIG-Mac] R.app crashes at startup on MacOS Sierra

I still have theses same problems with R. I have not run into the LaTex issues yet. The only solution that allows me to continue to work in R is to open R and open any scripts using XQuartz. I also must delete the R saved state every time it is generated.
I am hopeful that someone will find a permanent solution.
