[R-SIG-Mac] "gsl" does not seem to find installed GSL

Just a guess but in the the config step it says:

> configure: error: Need GSL version >= 1.12

and the version on cran is 1.9.  I am not certain why you want to install from source, but either way,  Simon has more recent versions on his web pages, the src at:

http://r.research.att.com/src/

and the libs at:

http://r.research.att.com/libs/
