[R-SIG-Mac] error when editing

Hi all, I got this message this morning after installing the 3.2.3 on 
OSX El Capitan 10.11.1. This happened whilst on the editor (not that 
editing never produced an error in the console but this time this 
appears quite concise so I thought I would share it )
