[R-SIG-Mac] R won't install in OS X 10.85 - doesn't ientify

I'm trying to install R 3.1.3 on mac OS X 10.85.

When I go therough the install package, it won't recognise my version of OS X. 
Neither the snow-leopard release will work, nor the mavericks.

Any tricks here?

My laptop belongs to a hospital and I cannot upgrade the OS.
