FAQ “10.5 recommends using a dylib file that was not included in my binary installation.

I have installed R version 3.1.1 (2014-07-10) -- "Sock it to Me”

I followed the FAQ 10.5 instruction:
cd /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/lib
ln -sf libRblas.vecLib.dylib libRblas.dylib
R
  dyld: Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/3.1/Resources/lib/libRblas.dylib
  Referenced from: /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/bin/exec/R
 Reason: image not found
 Trace/BPT trap: 5

When I replace the R BLAS R promptly works.

locate libRblas.vecLib.dylib finds nothing.

Does this aspect of the FAQ apply to R ver 3.1.1 on Yosemite?

Joe
