Dear list members,
Has anyone had issues running R scripts in R 3.1.2 on Yosemite? I have 3
questions on my fall 2014 macbook pro w/ retina display.
1.A warning below would pop out when I open an existing R script:
2014-11-10 11:08:13.392 R[881:12608] *** WARNING: Method
convertPointFromBase: in class NSView is deprecated on 10.7 and later. It
should not be used in new applications.
2. And when I adjust the font size in script, another warning would pop out:
2014-11-10 11:08:21.282 R[881:12608] -deltaZ is deprecated for
NSEventTypeMagnify. Please use -magnification.
3. read.table() almost always causes R into non-responding state.
I tried to google the above warnings and error, but it seems no one has had
such issues relating to R. I also tried to install the experimental R
3.1.2 and experimental R 3.2 to check, and those problems persist. I do
not know if the above questions are interrelated.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Eugene
