[R-SIG-Mac] R.app takes a lot of time opening long script files

Dear all,

first of all I'd like to thank the developers for the very nice job on  
R.app.
I only have a, rather minor, problem:
when I double click on a source file with R code, R.app opens  
instantly but then it hangs for as much as a minute (and sometimes  
more, depending on the length of the file) until it finally opens the  
internal editor with the loaded code.
Actually this happens also if R.app is already running and also if I  
open the file using the "File" menu, instead of double clicking.
I've had this problem for a long time and with many R versions, so  
this is not specific of R 2.9.0 (I'm currently using binary CRAN  
version of both R and R.app). It's not even specific of my machine,  
since I have the same problem using three different computers.
Finally, note that the same source file opens immediately with any  
other text editor.
