[R-SIG-Mac] 64 bit on the Mac

I tried R-2.9.0.pckg and it did produce the 2.9.1.dmg and the 2.9.0.pckg;
and when 2.9.1 installed it produced 2.9.1
but it was 32bit
Then I tried the R-2.9.0.pckg and it produced both 32 and 64 bit
but was 2.9.0
So I did the curl shuffle (curl -s
http:r.research.att.com/R-2.9-branch-leopard-universal.tar.gz | sudo tar
fvxz - - C/)
And then installed R-GUI-5444-2.9-leopard-Leopard64.dmg
And now have 2.9.1 64bit
