[R-SIG-Mac] rimage doesn't install on Mac OS X 10.4

Thanks, I can now get past that hurdle.  The compiler is getting through
some of its work, but it still breaks down as follows.  This is from an
R session without sudo, in a Mac Terminal window.

For brevity, the key lines seem to be
ld: /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/../R.framework/R load command 14
unknown cmd field
/usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed
