[R-SIG-Mac] Clear Last Output from Console in GUI

Emacs has a very useful command that allows one to clear the last
command from the console display, ... and only the last one.

prints with 100's to 1000's of lines of output (accidental or just  
incidental)
can be cleared.

Any way to implement this useful feature in the R-Gui ?
It would seem to be easy,
and would speed "experimentation" documentation (which I just described,
using Open Office.)
