[R-SIG-Mac] 2 new lines when starting R 2.5.1 from R.app

I have seen this also.

Yesterday I upgraded R from  2.5.0 to 2.5.1 on an 
Intel MacBook Pro running 10.4.10.

The first time I started R 2.5.1 using R.app, the message appeared once.
I immediately quit R, then started it again. The message appeared twice, as
in Denis' email below. I quit R, started it again. No message.
