[R-SIG-Mac] repeated crashes

Hi!

when using the built in editor
R crashes when editing the script.

The GUI reports something like

... (snippet)

*** caught bus error ***
address 0x120, cause 'non-existent physical address'
...

or

...

...


does anybody know what this means?
