The crash reports are in Console (Applications->Utilities). Please  
have a look there. There must be a record either in the crash log or  
the console log.

The fact that it worked before could indicate one of two issues that  
arose in the past: please move (or delete) your R session ~/.RData  
file (e.g. run
mv .RData RData
in Terminal). The second thing to try is to delete your R preferences  
(Library/Preferences/org.R-project.R.plist). Please let us know  
whether that worked and in case it didn't, when the logs say.
