aless is the command-line version of Aqualess, which
you can get as a universal binary from

http://aqualess.sourceforge.net/

It installs aless in /usr/bin, same as smultron and
bbedit have command line versions.

now add

options(pager="aless")

to your Rprofile, and even if you are using R from the
terminal (or Emacs) you will get output from help()
in a nice Aqua window.
