[R-SIG-Mac] Unable to launch R.app from R-2.2.0-r36543

Summary:

I am unable to launch R.app from R-2.2.0-r36543.

Details:

I downloaded R-patched-panther.dmg from the CRAN mirror at 
www.ibiblio.org and got R-2.2.0-r36543. I installed R-Framework.pkg and 
then copied R.app into my Applications directory, overwriting my old R.app.

The new R.app is R Cocoa GUI 1.13 (2034). When I attempt to launch the 
new R.app, I get the following error:

The operation could not be completed.
An unexpected error occurred (error code -10810).

If I restore the stock R.app [R Cocoa GUI 1.13 (1915), created October 
7, 2005 5:07 PM], I can launch R.app successfully.
