[R-SIG-Mac] gstack underflow

I am using package odesolve to solve a system of ode's. For this I define a
function in C that is called from the lsoda function in odesolve. With a
large system I occasionally get the following warning if I run it in the
debugger: 

"kCGErrorFailure : CGGStackRestore: gstack underflow "

Can someone help me with the  meaning of this warning and what to do about
it?
