[R-SIG-Mac] R-1.7.1 with new gcc-3.3

After having downloaded Bioconductor 1.2  (and successfully installing 
it  via getBioC() fcn)  I am having problems with R CMD INSTALL , 
namely I am getting a syntax error when trying to unpack and install a 
library. I am running  R 1.7.1 with X11 from Jan's  binary  
distribution.  Any suggestions/advice  would be appreciated.
