[R-SIG-Mac] R-1.7.1 with gcc-3.3 and --with-x

Thanks for spotting these.
I'll fix it in R-devel soon.
A temporary patch will be to conditionalize inside devQuartz.c for  
HAVE_AQUA and skipping most of the code.
But this doesn't happen for  gcc 3.1
