The version of R-devel.tar.gz now in ftp://gifi.stat.ucla.edu/pub
has been compiled on gifi, which is my Cube running OS X 10.5.1.
This means it uses a non-threaded atlas (1 CPU), and it still has the
Quartz device and libR.dylib. It will be useful to more people than
the previous one.
Don't forget to change R_HOME_DIR in bin/R and to put a copy
of bin/R in your path.
