Thanks! It would also be helpful if the installer could correctly set 
the path in a login file, so that typing "R" will run the last version 
installed. Fink uses different file locations than what you recommend, 
and that gave me some problems when I tried to upgrade to 1.5.0, which 
was not available from Fink.
