[R-SIG-Mac].First.lib failed problem again with yasma package

I do not have this problem with R-1.5.1, Mac OS X 10.2, and gcc 3.1. You
are missing drand48 from yasma.so. If you go to /usr/lib and
say "nm libSystem.dylib | grep drand48", do you also see something
like

libSystem.dylib(drand48.So):
90055794 T _drand48
