Figures To Facts is currently looking for an R Programmer
Figures To Facts is a company specialized in BI dashboard and report
creation on sales and marketing data.
We are a small but fast growing company, working for the largest Fast Moving
Consumer Goods enterprises in the world.
We are currently looking for an R programmer, who will become responsible
for the complete 'data environment' in our company.
Main responsibilities:
- You will create new functions in R for New Business Development
purposes;
- You will maintain and create databases in SQL (SQLite, ProgreSQL) based
on multiple data sources;
- You will structurally perform data quality checks to ensure data
integrity;
- You will create and maintain web scraping programs;
- You will update and/or improve existing functions in R;
- You will optimize and extend a report system created in a Web Based
Environment;
Required:
Programming Skills:
* Thorough knowledge of efficient programming in R;
* Thorough knowledge of handling SQLite, ProgreSQL, Ubuntu and RApache;
* Aptitude in programming and data analysis in order to develop tools for
manipulating, managing and analyzing data;
* Knowledge of Phyton for web scraping purposes;
Very nice to have:
* Knowledge/interest of statistics and econometrics;
* Knowledge/interest in excel programming by VBA;
Personal Skills:
* You are a dynamic team player who works efficiently and in a structured
way;
* You are client focused and you like to communicate with customers;
* You are operational within a short period of time;
