We have a position available for an experienced R programmer to provide support
for software development for statnet, a suite of R packages for Exponential
Random Graph Modeling (http://statnet.org -- most content is on the wiki). The
current statnet development team includes several PhD level statisticians, some
faculty from other disciplines, and an independent software developer. Funding
is available for at least 2 years, there is some flexibility in hours (75% to
100% is preferred), and some flexibility in work location. The official job
description (and application instructions) are here:

search for req # 105022
Key skills required include R and C competency; R package development
experience; experience with statistical programming (esp. MCMC estimation) and
network analysis would both be a big plus. The job will involve a mix of
software optimization and management of the process for updating the suite of
statnet packages with regular public releases.
The job description is written to permit a broad range of potential applicants.

send me an email if you have any questions.

Martina Morris
