[R-jobs] Freelance: Build Gearman API R package & Additional ongoing work

Our company is looking for a freelance R developer to write an R interface to Gearman.  We can offer competitive compensation, and are looking to build an ongoing freelance relationship for R development.

For this project we are looking for developers with experience in both C and R.  There is an existing C API, so we would need the R package to wrap these underlying APIs.  We currently only have a limited need for a small subset of the api, and are primarily looking for a very fast implementation of the background processes.  We are also interested in growing a broader community around the R/Gearman API, so are willing to pay to for a broad implementation.   We would like to also release any work done here to CRAN.
