*Summary of essential job functions*

�         Builds models in the broad areas of statistics and data mining

�         Works with product engineering teams to implement these models
into products

�         Implements these models in production environment to create
business value

*Minimum requirements (Education Qualification & Work Experience)*

�         MS/PhD from a reputed institution

�         Field of graduate education � Computer Science, Mathematics,
Statistics, Engineering or related fields

�         Strong academic record

�         1-8 years of experience in the field of Advanced statistics, data
mining and text mining

*Competency Requirements: [Technical & Behavioral]*

�         *Strong background in programming and modeling in R a must*

�         Passion and technical competency in quantitative methods and/or
predictive analytics

�         Experience with techniques such as Data mining, Advanced
Statistics, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Text mining,
weblog mining etc.

�         Scripting languages such as Python or Perl a strong plus

�         Hands on experience in model building and/or coding

�         Proven problem-solving skills.

�         Excellent computation and data management skills. Experience
handling voluminous data

�         Understanding of marketing science and customer service domains a
plus
