[R-sig-ins] Estimating the effects of various factors given optimal premium

I am a newbie to the insurance industry.

I like to know whether R has an established approach in estimating the effects of various factors when the optimal premium for a policy is already known (calculated technically).

It is to revise the look-up tables for the pricing engine.
