[R-sig-hpc] Installing gputools fails on Ubuntu 14.04LTS

Hello Charles,

Great news, it worked, this is wonderful.  I opened R Studio, loaded the
library, and ran gpuCor, so looks like it worked.

There were a lot of warnings in the output (I apologize in advance for the
large block of text), I'm hoping they're harmless as it appears to be
working.
