While we are at listing our favorite R GUIs, I'll throw RKWard into the ring:

I assume you are aware of the list of R GUI projects at 
http://rwiki.sciviews.org/doku.php?id=guis:projects ? Also, the Journal of 
Statistical Software is planning a special issue on R GUI (scheduled to be 
published some time this year; http://www.jstatsoft.org/). You may want to 
look out for that.
