JGR Version 1.7-4 has been released to CRAN and is propagating across the mirrors.

JGR Description:
Java GUI for R - cross-platform, universal and unified Graphical User Interface for R. For full functionality on Windows and Mac OS X JGR requires a start application which depends on your OS. This can be downloaded from JGR's website: http://rforge.net/JGR/

Changes and Features:
1. In editor, run on an empty selection runs line and advances caret.

2. The editor now has an option to format ugly / poorly written R code. Simply select the ugly code you wish to beautify then hit the "Format Selection" menu option, and the code will be reformatted using good style guidelines (See also the formatR package).

3. A preference item controlling italicized comments has been added.

4. The data loader uses the to.data.frame=TRUE in the read.spss function for .sav files
