Jose Claudio--

It would be helpful to let the user change the entire command
line associated with (pdf)tex. I use VTeX, and the command line
I use to get PDF output is

d:\vtex\bin\vtex3h.exe -$p(f=cf,c=9,g=f,t=f -ov -ox2 -n1
@latexcm %$

where %$ is replaced by the file name.

A similar command is used to get DVI, and to view DVI, I use

d:\vtex\bin\vtexwd.exe %$

So in my case at least, more flexibility is needed than an
option change for "latex".

Regards,
...Mike
