Yes. You may need to add Iwidgets to your OS, though. I have used them on
Windows (via an extra package from ActiveTcl), and Debian (via a binary .deb).

A Google search for 'r-help Iwidgets' brings up 42 references, including
working examples.

As for many things tcl/tk, the best reference is still James' site. One
