Registrations for the Summer School 2022 "Open Source solutions for
Earth system data (R, OSGeo, Python)" Friendly City Hotel Siegburg
(close to Bonn) 28.08.–03.09. are now open!

Learn #rspatial, Python and Julia from the leading devs and applied
researchers. Organized jointly with 52°North GmbH. Watch interesting
benchmarkings comparing spatial and spatiotemporal analysis in R, OSGeo,
Pyton and Julia.
The Summer School will include:
- Live presentations and demos by leading R and OSGeo developers;
- 5 days of Earth System Analysis training sessions and R / OSGeo tutorials;
- Including 1 day of R-Spatial workshops;
- Including 1 focus day "extreme events";
- Discussion panels and break-out rooms.

This Summer School is a not-for-profit event and can be followed online.
The cost-recovery registration fees are (full price): 625 EUR. Reduced
