[R-sig-Geo] Store sf as 'line-by-line' GeoJSON

Dear all,

I'm looking for a way to store an sf object or geopackage as a
'line-by-line' GeoJSON. The definition of the GeoJSON is listed at
https://learn.maproulette.org/documentation/line-by-line-geojson/

I tried st_write(driver = "GeoJSONSeq", config_options = c(RS = "YES"))
This writes every feature on a single line. However, it doesn't store them
as a FeatureCollection.

Suggestions are welcome.
