[R-sig-Geo] Effective number of parameters (enp)

Hello all,

I am trying to interpret the model output from the geographically weighted regression R function ‘gwr' in the package ‘spgwr’. 

There are two “effective number of parameters”:
Effective number of parameters (residual: 2traceS - traceS’S)
Effective number of parameters (model: traceS)

How do I interpret them? Do you know which one is for the calculation of adjusted p values addressed here <https://github.com/cran/GWmodel/blob/master/R/gwr.t.adjust.r>?
