[R-sig-Geo] temp directory not actually reset by rasterOptions()

Thanks. Yes, I also had found using Simon Urbanek’s unixtools to be an
alternative solution.
But this does not address the core of my question:
raster::rasterOptions(tmpdir="/home/alobo/provi")
does not work.
