[R-sig-Geo] My code mistakenly prints multiple PDF pages

I had the same problem recently.

And answering Barry's question, I got all the pictures showed on one screen
device.

Curiously, the problem didn't take place (using exactly the same code) when
I asked to produce a .TIFF figure instead of a PDF.

I am also waiting the replies for this issue.
