[R-sig-Geo] Geographic/Spatial Clustering - pyCluster for R?

Hi,

I have recently stumbled across the pyCluster package in Python that does
Geographical/Spatial clustering i.e. aggregating spatial pixels/polygons
together based on both their "similarity" and being geographical neighbours
- see here: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/clusterPy/0.9.9

Does anyone know of an interface to use this library in R, or an
implementation of similar tools in R?
