[R-sig-Geo] Raster format and compression

Hi Loic,
yes, I set the 'datatype' argument to Float64 as the same of my input data.
I tried also dataType on my input map ad is "FLT8S". However I think I'm
beginning to understand the mechanism and I will try to follow your
instruction. For example: FLT8S means "Floating with 8 significant values",
while INT2S is "integer with 2 values"...isn't it?
For the moment I will use the "larger and converted maps" but I would like
to understand better the available options. Many thanks for your
suggestions!
