[R-sig-Geo] georeferencing image from scratch

Hi Marcelo,
I don't see anything in raster or rgdal that would do that directly.
However, this can be done I believe using gdal_translate / gdal_edit
(for adding the GCPs to the dataset) + gdalwarp (for warping). Both
gdal_translate and gdalwarp utilities have wrappers in the gdalUtils
package.
