[R-sig-Geo] contour in spplot

Hi ! 

I have some troubles with contour in spplot. I can't define the number of
lines, and the positions of the labels seems impossible to modify. I would
use another tools to make contour (like levelplot), but I'm not able to use
the result with spplot. Is-it possible ? The result must be convert ?
