[R-sig-Geo] problems for using spgrass6 package

In:

list.files(system.file("doc", package="spgrass6"))

there are two PDF files, one from OSGeo Journal in 2007. They describe use
of R inside a GRASS location - start GRASS first, then start R from within
GRASS (as you have not provided the output of sessionInfo(), we don't know
your OS).

If you need to start a temporary location, look at the help page for
initGRASS, then execGRASS. For running R inside GRASS, see Neteler and
Mitasova (2008). For both modes, see Bivand et al. (2013, 2nd edition)
section 4.5, pp. 112-118 (GRASS in R) and 136 (temporary location). The
code for these is on www.asdar-book.org.

The grass-stats mailing list is another place to ask, but reviewing the
archives of that list may be helpful too.

Hope this helps,

Roger
